Cold Season

During winter San Vigilio is particularly known for its ski resort  - the Kronplatz mountain – with its 100 km of slopes , its guaranteed provision of snow and its 32 modern ski-lifts which perfectly meet the expectations of all Skiers and Snowboarders. Moreover it is part of the „Dolomiti Superski“.

The village also offers a marvellous cross-country run starting from the village to the end of the valley and going through forests and meadows of the natural park up to the final destination „Rifugio Pederü“.

Apart from skiing, snowboarding and cross-country it is also possible to do ice skating or sledging . Enthusiasts of pure nature are very welcome in the wonderful nature park Fanes-Sennes-Braies where you can make nice trips by ski or snowshoes.
